The Tower of the Monk (Torreon del Monje) one of the iconic buildings of the seaside resort of Mar del Plata, Argentina. It is a building of medieval influences, built on the rocks of Punta Piedras in 1904, currently operating as a confectionery. Formerly known as Tower Pueyrredoand earlier as the Belvedere.
