EDITORS COMMENTS
. In this iconic snapshot captured by Tom King, the legendary rock duo of John Entwistle and Keith Moon from The Who proudly display their new wheels at Keith's residence in Chertsey, Surrey. Accompanied by their trusted chauffeurs Mick Bratby and Doogle Butler, the photo immortalizes a moment of pure extravagance. This luxurious automobile boasts an array of opulent features including a state-of-the-art stereo system, television, fridge, and even a drinks cabinet. With his new set of wheels, Entwistle epitomizes rockstar indulgence. On the other hand, Keith Moon takes an unconventional approach to car ownership. His vehicle of choice? A milk float! But don't be fooled by its humble appearance; this modified milk delivery van comes equipped with surprising amenities such as a telephone and bar. For added comfort during his wild escapades on the road, Moon has fitted an old armchair in the rear along with an ancient record player. This candid photograph transports us back to September 30th, 1971 - an era defined by rebellious music and larger-than-life personalities. It captures not only the musicians' love for cars but also their unapologetic eccentricity that made them icons in both music and pop culture history. As we
