War memorial, Boscawen Street, Truro, Cornwall. 12th November 1922
Wreath-bedecked memorial. The memorial was unveiled on 15th October 1922 to commemorate those who died in the First World War (1914-1918). It also now commemorates those lost in the Second World War (1939-1945), the Falklands Conflict (1982) and Afghanistan (2001-2014). The fountain (now located in Victoria Park) can be seen behind the memorial with the Coinage Hall, housing Lloyds Bank, in the background. Bullen Brothers Ironmongers is on the left.
