Step back in time with this charming photograph of the Green Dragon Public House in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. The image, taken in the 1960s, captures the pub's classic facade with its distinctive sign and red brick exterior. The Green Dragon, located at WD6 4EB, was a popular local watering hole during this era. As of July 2018, the pub continues to serve its community, but in the past, it underwent development work, as seen in the back of this print. In June 2017, the pub was covered in scaffolding, a common sight during renovations. The Green Dragon was once under the ownership of the Charrington and Company Limited, a significant player in the brewing industry during the 1960s. This photograph offers a glimpse into the past, showcasing the history and character of this cherished local pub.
